The TEC B-882 series is part of the new generation of TEC printers.
This 8.4" printer continues with the same features found on the field
proven B-872 series:
1) Wide range of fonts and barcodes
2) Industrial strength steel case for harsh environments
3) LCD and LED operator displays
4) 300m ribbon.
With a 300 dpi edge type printhead and print speeds of up to 8 ips, TEC's
superb print quality is maintained at a level expected from a leading
printer manufacturer. To this incredible package TEC has added a new range
of advanced features. Using the optional PCMCIA I/F board, more Logo’s,
Fonts and Format details can be stored on PCMCIA memory cards. With this
board you can also implement network solutions using a PCMCIA Ethernet LAN
Card (supporting FTP Client / Server, LPD) which when fitted offers
Internet Web Printer Control. A new faster CPU (internal clock speed 60
MHz, external clock speed 30 MHz) improves the overall throughput, and
coupled with the greater memory capacity (16 MB) provides a print length
of up to 54 inches (1.364 m).
Other options include 20 Downloadable True Type Fonts, Swing Cutter, &
Strip Module, giving the performance and flexibility needed to meet all
your printing requirements.
