The popular MINI-CAT Label Rewinders are the world’s lowest-price Label Rewinders. They are capable of rewinding label rolls up to 4½ -inches wide, up to 8-inches in diameter at speeds up to 10-ips (inches per second). The MINI-CATs can also be used as Label Unwinders.

LABELMATE’s Constant Adjustable TorqueTM ("CAT") technology has made the silent, easy-to-use CAT-2 the "Industry Standard" Label Rewinder. There are no awkward dancer arms, troublesome belts or clutches. The standard
CAT-2 handles labels up to 6-inches wide and
will wind a roll of labels up to a 12-inch diameter. Torque and Direction are fully controllable from the Control Panel. Dual torque ranges provide plenty of power for use with a LABELMATE Slitter, too.

CAT-2P Rewinder for the Primera LX800 Printer

The new CAT-2L Loop Unwinder / Rewinder uses two user-positioned photo-detectors to start and stop the unwinding or rewinding action. The CAT-2L was developed primarily for unwinding applications. When the upper photo-detector is uncovered by the paper loop, unwinding begins and continues until the lower photo-detector is covered, when it stops. This approach reduces the paper resistance to the printer to almost zero and offers a far greater reliability than tension-arm systems. The CAT-2L can also be used to rewind, however the rewound roll will be very loose as there is almost no tension on the roll. All models use two visible-light photo-detectors with cables that plug in to the rear panel of the machine. The cables are 79” (2-meters) long. The detection range is adjustable from 3/4” to 15-3/4” (20-to 400-mm.)

The LABELMATE Model CAT-16 brings LABELMATE’s CAT (Constant Adjustable TorqueTM) technology to a wide-web Heavy-Duty Label Rewinder / Unwinder. The CAT-16 is designed specifically for use directly “in-line” at the output of a printer to rewind web widths up to 16-inches (406+ mm).  You get easy set-in-place installation with this industrial-quality product constructed from heavy-gauge steel. A CAT-16 can also be used as an Unwinder at the input to a printer. Holes in the base plate are provided to bolt the CAT-16 to the tabletop if desired.

For LX400 and LX800 series color printers. This heavy duty rewinder puts the least possible tension on the web so that print quality is not affected.  The CAT-2P includes a special sensor arm that tracks the labels coming from the printer and adjusts the rewinding action accordingly. 5 year parts and labor limited warranty.
